Teen Cancer America (TCA), the national non-profit with rock and roll in its DNA and roots tracing back to the United Kingdom, is hosting a day of polo, fundraising and hospitality in Los Angeles with a decidedly British flair.
TCA’s inaugural “Rock ‘n’ Polo” event on Saturday, June 15 at Will Rogers State Park in Pacific Palisades will raise funds and awareness for the TCA mission. Founded in 2012 by rock icons Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who, TCA develops specialized facilities and age-specific services that are proven to improve outcomes and survivorship for young adults fighting cancer.
Rock ‘n’ Polo promises to be a glamorous day filled with live action polo, a spectacular opening performance by special musical guests!
Event will include: Gourmet food, open bar and lounge area, raffle prizes, flower crowns, polo lessons, ice cream, hand massages, henna art, luxury coffee, specialty tea, dog petting, a champagne divot stomp, and so much more!
This new annual event will celebrate the vibrant Palisades community and provide the opportunity to “party for a purpose” at historic Will Rogers State Park, home of the only remaining polo field in Los Angeles.
TCA celebrity event ambassadors in attendance will include singer-songwriter and cancer survivor Harry Hudson; L.A.-based pop troubadour Stevie Redstone; actor, director and community philanthropist Justin Baldoni (Jane the Virgin); restaurateur and entrepreneur Marissa Hermer; British actress Victoria Summer (Saving Mr. Banks, Game of Aces); South African singer Shaun Jacobs; New Zealand singer-songwriter and former Syrian refugee NOURI and other special musical guests.
“This will be an exciting day to remember at Will Rogers Field that will help us provide critical services for young people who need our support,” said TCA Executive Director Simon Davies, a native of Great Britain. “Enjoying an afternoon of polo lets us put an English spin on things and celebrate our history, all for a great cause.”

Children under five years of age will be admitted at no charge. Reserved VIP tables for 10 people, including a bottle of Roger Daltrey Champagne, are available at a special group rate.
