Philadelphia: Sound of America Musical and Federal Donuts & Chicken Raising Funds

The Sound of America musical at FringeArts in Philadelphia is raising funds for Teen Cancer America. This Ben Franklin Rock Musical features the story of a founding father, electrified. This is the untold story of both a nation and its most rebellious art form. Meet Philadelphia’s favorite son–and the New World’s first superstar. An evolving score tracks rock as Ben tracks history. Foot-stomping ditties, emotional duets, and pensive acoustic moments give way to arena-rock anthems, punk grit, and power ballads — all performed live onstage for a fully immersive concert experience.

This musical will feature a special cameo by Sir Roger Daltrey, our Co-Founder. All show royalties will be donated to Teen Cancer America, supporting our vital work at partner hospitals nationwide.

The musical is partnering with local shop Federal Donuts & Chicken, who will donate a portion of proceeds from their Sound of America “The Ben” donut to Teen Cancer America, from Monday, June 29th to July 10th.
