My name is Avi, and I’m full of life and buzz! I’ve been involved with Teen Cancer America for the past seven years and played an integral part in creating our first unit in the United States at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to represent TCA at multiple speaking engagements, advocate for the needs of adolescent and young adults, as well as visit and mentor multiple patients along the way.
I’m currently involved in private lending and continue my passion for working with adolescent and young adults (AYA). I’m always proud to say that I’m associated with TCA and will forever be. Their line of work aligns with my vision of a world where AYA’s are treated as individuals and not as child or geriatric patients. A world where patients have a sense of autonomy and have a space provided where they can originate authentic relationships with their peers.
