Jordan L

My name is Jordan, I am 20 years old and I am a rising Junior at Cornell University. In October, 2014, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and underwent four months of chemotherapy and one month of radiation treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During my time at CHOP I learned first hand the unique issues facing Adolescent and Young Adult cancer patients. These issues are not as widely recognized as the issues in pediatric or adult cancer treatment. So,  I chose to team up with Teen Cancer America in order to address these under-recognized concerns and help improve the quality of life for teenagers battling cancer.   Some other things about me: I am on the varsity golf team at Cornell and golf is huge in my family. It’s my favorite thing to do. I also love basketball, football and tennis and am an accomplished chess player.
