East Coast Rocks TCA’s 5th Annual Golf Outing in New Jersey 

TCA’s 5th Annual Golf Outing at the TPC Jasna Polana took place last month in Princeton, NJ. It was a great day of fabulous golf, delicious food and drinks, and rocking musical performances to raise funds for teens and young adults with cancer.

Bob and Carol Lerner, parents of TCA Survivor Advocate Jordan Lerner, host this event every year, sharing their experience and moving the mission forward for young people like Jordan. Founding Musical Director Ken Freirich brought his All Star Band, featuring special guests Steve Augeri of Journey, Guns ‘n’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Kasim Sulton of Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, and Donnie Kehr of “Tommy” on Broadway. Play It Back’s Kenli Mattus and Program Artist Nathan Hooper also took the stage, playing hits as well as original music created through our music program! Golf Channel and Olympics Host Rich Lerner led the live auction, and LPGA Champion All-star Val Skinner hosted a golf clinic.

This event has raised nearly $2 million for Teen Cancer America to continue transforming the cancer experience for young people. Thank you to our Board, Advisory Board, Survivor Advocates, TCA team, volunteers, donors and sponsors who have made this possible.
