Meeting with UCLA Young Advisory Committee

Teen Cancer America’s Executive Director, Simon Davies was invited to the UCLA Young Advisory Board meeting to view the designs of the new Infusion Center to be built in Santa Monica.

The amazing state of the art designs have been very much led by young survivors who passionately want to change the environments in hospitals where teens with cancer are treated.

The new day/out patient facility has the social area in the “heart” of the design to give teens the maximum opportunity to communicate and engage in activities whilst receiving treatment. All the colours have been carefully chosen to compliment the light which shows magenta flowing with beautiful dark blues, silver grey amidst pops of fluorescent green.
