The 2018 Hoop-a-Thon was hosted in by former Duke Basketball player and Director of Basketball Operations, Nolan Smith. The event featured nearly 200 attendees including Duke Men & Women’s Basketball players, community volunteers, local cancer patients and a special guest appearance from friend, and former UNC Basketball star, Brice Johnson!
Throughout the event, participants competed to see who could shoot (and make) the most baskets in a two-minute time slot. Over $20,000 was raised from this event, supporting North Carolina teen and adolescent cancer research and treatment efforts.
We hope to see you there!
