Teen Cancer America is a charity devoted to transforming the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. Teen Cancer America’s aim is to develop age – targeted care, improve collaboration between pediatric and adult specialists and support dedicated research to improve outcomes and survival of young people with cancer.

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of legendary UK rock band The Who are the driving force behind Teen Cancer America. After over a decade working with Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK, the duo decided to take their passion across the pond and transform the lives of young people with cancer in the USA.

When a young person gets diagnosed with cancer, it is most likely that a young teen will be treated on a children’s ward with toddlers and an older teen or young adult will be treated on an adult ward with much older people. Feelings of isolation, loneliness, anxiety and a separation from their peers can take over as they battle through their cancer journey. It’s important that as a young person, no longer a child and not yet fully mature, we make sure that they have access to the best possible age appropriate care and support, where they can be treated together. Teen Cancer America creates state of the art, teen-friendly facilities in partnership with hospitals throughout the USA.

Young people with cancer deserve to have their own space. In these dedicated places they can get support from their peers going through the same challenges, in an environment where they feel comfortable and where professional teams are able to deliver programmes to better meet their needs.

You too can show your support for this fantastic charity. With EVERY purchase on Sample Tools by Cr2, we will donate 10% of all proceeds to Teen Cancer America. So not only can you have cutting edge sounds from across the dance music spectrum from some of the best-selling sample packs around, you will also be helping a great cause.
