Teen Cancer America Meets the Chairman of our Young People’s Advisory Committee

It was with delight that Teen Cancer America’s Chairman, Rebecca Rothstein, her son Evan along with Executive Director, Simon Davies and his wife Geraldine Lee were able to meet Daniel Bral, their newly appointed Chair of Teen Cancer America’s Advisory Committee.

Daniel, who is a cancer survivor himself, is studying in Washington to become a doctor and is totally committed to improving the outcomes and lives of teens fighting cancer.

He said, “I know what it is like to come through this disease when facilities are largely designed for children or older adults. It is isolating and we need our space. “

He also commented on the support of Speaker John Boehner.

“This will help us to spread the word and make a real impact across the country”.

Teen Cancer America welcome Daniel on board and know that he will have a profound effect on fulfilling our mission to provide specialist facilities and expertise in major cancer centers across the U.S.A.
