Avantika is a multi-hyphenate artist (actor, dancer, producer) with a passion for storytelling and expressive thinking. She is the breakout star of Disney’s Original Movie SPIN, in which she made history as Disney’s first Indian American lead. This moment garnered her a spot on VARIETY’s 2021 Power of Young Hollywood “Up Next” list. Now, she stars opposite Rebel Wilson in the Paramount/Netflix comedy feature SENIOR YEAR. In the future, Avantika aims to portray and produce stories that highlight marginalized communities and bring them to mainstream media. Avantika is currently focusing her efforts on highlighting causes that are important to her – helping teens with cancer being one.
