Brandon’s approach to music, songwriting and production could be coined “Classic Quirk.” He loves unorthodox themes and even generates original sounds in somewhat outlandish ways. He likes to plug his Ukulele into an amp and effects to mangle its sound and make it a Uke on steroids. His love of classic rock comes through in his arrangements and hooks. Brandon enjoys exploring themes like falling in love with a space alien, riffing on obscure cartoon characters and breaking up with his unbeloved brain tumor. He’s a welcome addition to Play It Back and finished his first production just in time to get it on our first-ever vinyl compilation. Play It Back is glad he’s back at it, creating riffs and original song themes. Brandon is a true musician who loves to explore. He’s also the only Play It Back artist who can correctly pronounce “Louisville.”
