Genre: Rock/Pop

What kind of music do you love, and who are some of your favorite artists or bands?

I love music that’s bold, fun, and timeless. Classic rock will always be a favorite, and I’m obsessed with artists who bring personality and swagger, like Mark Ronson, Debbie Harry, and Gwen Stefani. Music that makes you feel something or move in your own way hits me the most.

What was your relationship with music like before your cancer diagnosis?

Music was my lifeline. I was always writing, performing, or just obsessively listening. It was my soundtrack for everything, a way to process emotions, celebrate moments, or escape when life got heavy.

Can you share a little bit about your cancer story?

I was diagnosed a couple years ago, right after graduating USC. It was a total shock and completely reshaped how I see life. Going through it forced me to face my own mortality, but it also made me fiercely aware of what matters most. Music became a steady companion through it all!

Did your experience with cancer change your relationship with music in any way?

Yes. Music became both my therapy and my escape. Sometimes I couldn’t focus, but more often it was my anchor, helping me feel alive and creative when everything else felt uncertain. I think it made me value music on a deeper, almost spiritual level.

What led you to join Play It Back, and what are you hoping to get out of the experience?

I joined because I wanted a space to create freely with other artists who GET it, love music, and build bonds along the way.

If you had to describe the kind of music you make or want to make, how would you describe it?

Modern rock with emotional depth: raw, honest, sometimes dark, sometimes uplifting. I care about vibe and storytelling equally: songs that hit emotionally, sonically, and leave a lasting feeling.

Anything else you want to share?

I love to play my guitar and sing. I play video games and I also love to hunt. Camping and fishing are definitely my vacation plans. The office is probably one of the best shows ever made. When I’m bored I love to ride on my Can-Am and jam out to some music.
