Christian Luke hails from the heart of Alabama. He’s got that Southern charm and wit. He is always welcoming, friendly, and willing to speak his truth. His flow and lyrics fit right in with artists like Kendrik Lamar and Mac Miller but with his own original perspective. He and his friends used to go find quiet places (like abandoned houses) and host freestyle rap battles where they would test each other’s nerve in finishing their rhymes in the cleverest ways possible. After cancer put Christian’s creativity on hold, he clawed his way back into his lyrical flow using only his notebook. He learned to record his own vocals into his laptop to the beats he helped create with Play It Back. It’s a dream come true for him to offer up his own music as comfort to others just like music has always been a comforting cornerstone for him.
