Howard M. Schwartz has more than 40 years of experience as a real estate professional and is founder and CEO of Howard Schwartz Commercial Real Estate in Michigan, a boutique commercial brokerage company whose core competencies include retail tenant representation, investment sales, and vacant land for development. Howard and his wife Robin’s charitable endeavors include a modest family foundation, “May the Schwartz Be with You”, whose focus is cancer, mental health, and Jewish causes. Howard is a founding member of the Friendship Circle, a children’s special needs charity, and has been an active member of their board of directors since 1995.
In 2007, Howard became a member of the board of directors for Kadima, a mental health services non-profit, and currently sits as vice present on the executive board. Howard is also special counsel to the founder and president of Sanctum House, a charity that offers a safe home with integrated services and programs for the survivors of human trafficking. He has been involved in Teen Cancer America for seven years. What free time Howard may claim, he is an avid art collector, a hobbyist in model railroading, and he and his wife enjoy travel, scuba and fishing. His family professes that when he was a young teenager, the album “Quadrophenia” was his first therapist.
