Sara Carreras is a singer/songwriter and instrumentalist. She grew up in a family of music and has been singing in church since she was 12. Her voice is as clear as a bell…and as Belle’s. Sara plays the guitar, but recently got into keys, bass, and drums. Her favorite genres are Gospel, R & B, and 90s/2000s Pop (she loves N’SYNC). And she will school you on the K-Pop group Red Velvet. Sara is hilarious and loves to entertain. Although cancer took away her energy to practice instruments and listen to music, she grew to love gospel music (Kirk Franklin & Fred Hammond) while in the hospital. Her church recently reopened and she’s back to singing on stage. Sara loves working with the other artists in Play It Back. Play It Back gives her hope that she can live a normal life after cancer and continue to pursue her dream of being a songwriter. Her favorite Play It Back memory was learning about Kenli’s obsession with bananas from a call with Benny Blanco.
