Nitu Chandra Srivastava was born in a middle-class joint family and comes from a small town in Bihar (India) where girls don’t dream of becoming actresses. A multi-faceted personality brimming with talent, Nitu is a Bollywood/Hollywood (actress/thespian) that has been an ambassador for cancer patients and aids associations in India for over eight years. She is also a talented individual who has a 4th-dan black belt in Taekwondo (who has represented India on the international stage), a NBA promoter in India for the past six years, and an Indian classical dancer. She has acted in more than 27 movies in India and has been a part of three nationally awarded films.
Not only does Nitu have a production house with her brother, Nitin Chandra, (Champaran Talkies Productions ) they’re working toward securing the dying languages of her roots by producing more movies in her native languages. Her brother Nitin is also a Nationally awarded writer/director.
Nitu considers the whole world as a family. She believes if she can achieve a goal, then anyone in the world can. She wants to be an icon for all kids who don’t come from any affluent background, but merely with their hard work, dedication, and focus can do anything they want!
