Vickie Katz, MA, serves as the Development Specialist at Teen Cancer America. With a combined 25 + years of fundraising and administrative experience, she supports the Chief Development and Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer and coordinates events to foster growth and generate revenue for Teen Cancer America. Her passion for the mission comes from the heartbreaking loss of her sixteen year old younger brother, Jeff, who died from cancer in 1988. Vickie’s loss was the driving force of her lifelong engagement and work in the cancer community and her inspiration, motivation and commitment come from her brother’s last words, “all kids should be given a chance to live.” Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Vickie holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.
